Paul Ng'eno's death came close to six months after that of his brother, who perished in a chopper crash in Nandi County.

Democracy for the Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua has expressed heartfelt condolence message to the family of Mama Mary Temas following the demise of her remaining child, Paul Ng'eno.

Paul was confirmed dead Saturday, August 22, after a bout of sickness.

The deceased was brother to former Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng'eno, who perished in a chopper crash in Nandi County in February this year.

His death was confirmed by Bernard Ng'eno, alias Arap Buluu, who served as the late MP's personal assistant.

He said Paul passed away after his condition deteriorated while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Eldoret.

In his statement, Gachagua extended his sympathies to Mama Mary, describing the loss as an especially painful one to bear so close together.

"No words of consolation are strong enough for you at this moment, but only God's grace is sufficient. I pray for you, Mama Mary. I know that, for a moment, you may question God why this has happened to you and to your sons. Many of us will ask, but the will of God is absolute. We may not understand the pain in your heart at the moment. But it is truly painful to lose your two sons within a short period. Please accept my deepest sympathies to you and your family," Gachagua said.

The DCP leader also extended condolences to the people of Emurua Dikirr constituency, urging them to draw strength from their faith as they mourned alongside the Ng'eno family.

"To the people of Emurua Dikirr, poleni sana on the loss of Paul Ng'eno. May the Almighty God give you peace and strength during this difficult moment. May the soul of Paul Ng'eno rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him forever," he added.

Gachagua had, while visiting Johana's home in Mogondo Friday, August 21, pledged to work with friends and allies to clear the Ksh1.8 million outstanding hospital bill and ensure Paul received continued care.

He had also promised to construct a mausoleum for the late Johana, instructing designers to draw up plans for the structure, and had earlier delivered several sacks of foodstuffs from his farm produce to the family, which he described as a symbol of an unbreakable bond.
