Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is set to embark on a three-county tour starting Friday, August 28.

Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is set to embark on a three-county tour starting Friday, August 28.

In a statement on Wednesday, August 26, Wiper Spokesperson Ndegwa Njiru said the tour will take Musyoka through Kajiado and Taita Taveta counties before concluding with a church service in Machakos County on Sunday.

The party said the engagements are part of the WPF leader's continued interaction with members of the public across the country.

"The Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) wishes to notify members of the press, party officials, and the general public of the weekend itinerary of the Party Leader, Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, as he continues his Meet the People Tour across the country," the statement read.

On Friday, Kalonzo will begin his engagements in Kajiado County before proceeding to Taita Taveta County, with several stops scheduled throughout the afternoon.

"He is expected in Email at 12 Noon, followed by Kimana at 2:30 PM, and Oloitoktok at 3:30 PM. He will then cross into Taita Taveta County for an engagement in Njukini at 4:30 PM," the statement added.

The WPF leader will spend Saturday, August 29, continuing his engagements across Taita Taveta County, where he is expected to make stops in three locations.

"On Saturday, 29th August 2026, the Party Leader will continue his tour of Taita Taveta County, with engagements lined up in Eldoro, Taveta Town, and Voi Town," the statement further read.

Kalonzo will conclude the weekend tour on Sunday, August 30, with a church service in Tala, Machakos County.

"On Sunday, 30th August 2026, the Party Leader will attend a church service at the Salvation Army Church in Tala, Machakos County," the statement concluded.

This comes days after WPF dismissed reports suggesting that its leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, has entered into a political deal with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua following a meeting held at Gachagua’s Wamunyoro Residence.

In a statement on Thursday, August 20, the party said the meeting did not result in any exclusive political agreement between the two leaders.

"The Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) has noted media reports, including those carried by The Star, suggesting that a political deal has been concluded between Kalonzo Musyoka and Rigathi Gachagua. We wish to set the record straight: no such exclusive deal exists," the statement read.

WPF said the meeting at the Wamunyoro Residence was specifically convened by Gachagua as an appreciation event for WPF Members of Parliament and Senators who stood in solidarity with him during his impeachment proceedings.

"The meeting held on 17th August 2026 at the Wamunyoro Residence was convened by H.E. Rigathi Gachagua to thank WPF Members of Parliament and Senators for the solidarity they showed him during his impeachment," the statement added.

WPF maintained that it remains focused on working with other opposition parties to build a united political coalition ahead of the next electoral cycle.

"WPF remains committed to building a strong, principled coalition with its sister parties in the United Alternative Government In Waiting.

"That process will continue through open, transparent and inclusive engagement, guided by shared democratic values and the interests of the people of Kenya," the statement concluded.
