In a notice on Wednesday, September 2, WPF Chairperson Jamleck Kamau invited interested candidates to register as aspirants.
Kamau noted that the deadline for aspirants to register is October 3, 2026.
“The Wiper Patriotic Front invites persons interested to vie for various positions in the 10th August 2027 General Election on a WPF ticket to register as WPF Aspirants on or before 3rd October, 2026,” read the notice in part.
The WPF Chairperson also invited individuals interested in being nominated by WPF in various positions to register.

“Those interested in being nominated by WPF in the various categories (Party Lists) are also invited to register,” the notice stated.
Candidates interested in gubernatorial positions will pay an application fee of Ksh50,000, while women, youth and persons with disabilities (PWDs) will pay Ksh25,000.
Senatorial and National Assembly aspirants will each pay Ksh20,000, with women, youth and PWD candidates paying Ksh10,000.
Woman Rep Aspirants will also pay an application fee of Ksh20,000, whereas MCA aspirants will pay Ksh10,000.
However, Women, youth, and PWD aspirants seeking MCA positions will pay Ksh5,000.
WPF directed the applicants to make the payments through the party’s Co-operative Bank account 01120199325701 or via Paybill number 400200 using account number 1930930.
Further, the party said the application form is available online through its website, where aspirants can complete the registration process.
The announcement comes as WPF is positioning itself for the 2027 General Election.
On August 7, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka announced changes to the party leadership, naming Jamleck Kamau as the party chairperson.
"Congratulations Hon. Jamleck Irungu Kamau on your appointment as Chairman of the Wiper Patriotic Front," Kalonzo wrote.
The party also named Nyali MP Mohamed Ali as its Deputy Party Leader designate, with Kalonzo praising his integrity and commitment to public service.
"The Honourable Mohamed Ali becomes our Deputy Party Leader designate. He brings a name that this regime cannot buy and will not intimidate," the former Vice President said.
