Sifuna confirmed Linda Mwananchi's programme for the Nairobi Tour.
On Friday, September 12, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna confirmed Linda Mwananchi's programme for the Nairobi Tour.
Sifuna said the plan will be short and will begin with a church service at the All Saints' Cathedral at 9 a.m. on Sunday, October 13.
After the service, the procession will pass through the city and head towards the Jacaranda Grounds in Embakasi East for the Linda Mwananchi Mega Rally.
"The programme is short: we will start with prayers so that God can increase the confusion among our enemies, then we will head to Jacaranda. What's your excuse for not joining us?" Sifuna posed.
Ahead of Linda Mwananchi's tour, ODM cancelled a planned rally in Nairobi that had been scheduled for the same day.

ODM Nairobi County Chairperson and Makadara Member of Parliament (MP) George Aladwa added that Linda Mwananchi's presence in Nairobi did not threaten the party.
"We have no problem with them holding the rally at Jacaranda Grounds. Everybody is free and has the right to hold meetings with the members of the public and sell their policies," Aladwa stated.
On his part, Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament Zaheer Jhanda added that the fact that Linda Mwananchi was allegedly sponsored negated reports that the faction had become more popular than the one led by Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga.
Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Faith Odhiambo stated that the faction had received credible reports of planned attacks by mobilised goons.
Odhiambo expressed hope that the alleged organisers would rethink their decision, adding that no Kenyan should be cowed out of expressing their political preferences.
Earlier, Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino said the gathering at Jacaranda will be Linda Mwananchi's biggest and most entertaining rally.
He also claimed that the government planned to deploy goons to disrupt the rally using goons. He alleged that the organised gangs were under instructions to steal from residents and supporters.
