In a notice on Tuesday, September 15, the hospital said the recruitment was targeting highly motivated and dynamic professionals with the ability to deliver results and uphold high standards of integrity and innovation.
"KUTRRH is seeking to recruit highly motivated, dynamic and result oriented individuals of high integrity, innovation and ability to delivery results to fill the following vacant positions," the notice read.
The available part-time tutor opportunities cover eight areas of nursing, including Critical Care Nursing, Nephrology Nursing, Perioperative Nursing and Oncology Nursing.
Other areas include Midwifery & Reproductive Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing and Mental Health Nursing.

KUTRRH is also recruiting for three senior management positions, comprising Director, Human Resource and Administration on a contract basis, Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Development on permanent and pensionable terms, and Deputy Director, Administration, also on permanent and pensionable terms.
Suitably qualified applicants are required to submit their applications online through the KUTRRH recruitment portal, clearly indicating the relevant job reference number and position applied for.
Applicants are required to complete or update their online profiles and upload their application letters, copies of National Identification Cards, valid practising licences, certified copies of academic and professional certificates, testimonials and any other relevant documents in PDF format.
Applicants seeking the part-time tutor positions are additionally required to attach their Curriculum Vitae, including email addresses and telephone contacts of three referees.
Candidates holding foreign qualifications are required to have their qualifications equated by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) to qualifications recognised within the Kenyan education system.

The deadline for the Director and Deputy Director positions was 5pm on Tuesday, September 1, while applications for the part-time tutor positions are required to reach KUTRRH by Friday, September 18.
The hospital said application letters should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital, Kahawa West, Northern Bypass Road, Nairobi, P.O. Box 7674–00100, GPO Nairobi.
KUTRRH cautioned applicants against paying money during the recruitment process, noting that the hospital does not charge any fee at any stage of recruitment.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, while canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
Successful candidates will also be required to demonstrate compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution by submitting clearance certificates from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
KUTRRH also encouraged qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply, including persons living with disabilities and individuals from marginalised and minority communities.

Meanwhile, the Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 1,000 internship vacancies under the State Department for Basic Education in the Ministry of Education.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, September 15, the PSC said the internship vacancies are under the Digital Literacy Programme (DLP) Cohort 5.
According to the commission, successful candidates will be deployed to schools at the sub-county level.
To qualify for the internship program, interested candidates are required not to have graduated earlier than 2022, be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education with specialization in Information Communication Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in ICT; or a Diploma in ICT or ICT Integration in Education, from a recognized institution.
Candidates are also required to be Knowledgeable in networking and infrastructure, application development, information security, and project management, and have the ability to integrate ICT with Education in terms of e-Learning and content development.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online through the Public Service Commission’s job portal accessible through www.publicservice.go.ke or www.psckjobs.go.ke.
The deadline for submitting the applications is October 5, 2026.
