Collins Toroitich, a grandson of late former President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi has demanded a DNA test in a case where he was slapped with a Ksh1 million a month upkeep suit.
Earlier in May 2021, Collins was sued by Baringo politician Gladys Jeruto Tagi for not taking care of his children despite being a successful businessman.
Collins stated that he will only take responsibility if and after the results confirm the legitimacy of her accusations.
The two were married in 2008 and had two children together- a boy and a girl aged 9 and 11. However, the separated after four years.
"I am currently unable to provide for the children alone as the needs are so many and would need to be assisted," Jeruto had earlier stated.

In the case filed before Principal Magistrate Benjamin Limo, Jeruto claimed she is not able to provide for her children.
She had petitioned that the court to compel Toroitich to pay her Ksh1 million every month.
The Koibatek Ward MCA hopeful told the court that her attempts to get in contact with Toroitich were fruitless, alleging he might have blocked.
Jeruto contested for the seat in 2017 under a KANU ticket but lost.
Toroitich is the son of the late Jonathan Moi, Mzee Moi's eldest son.
