The Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary said Oburu expressed appreciation for the support extended by President William Ruto, national leaders and residents of Siaya and the wider Nyanza region during the ceremony.
"Senator Oburu expressed his appreciation for the presence and support of President William Samoei Ruto, national leaders, and the people of Siaya and the wider Nyanza region, whose continued respect for the late Raila remains a fitting tribute to his immense contribution to the country," the statement further read.

Mudavadi also conveyed a message of goodwill to Oburu as he continues his recovery, assuring him of the solidarity and prayers of millions of Kenyans.
"Mudavadi wished Senator Oburu a speedy and full recovery and conveyed to him that millions of Kenyans continue to stand with him in prayer and solidarity during this period," the statement concluded.
Meanwhile, doctors attending to Oburu have given him strict instructions as he recuperates in hospital.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, October 7, Oburu said that his doctors imposed a forced rest on him amid concerns about his health.
He added that the doctors directed him to limit his physical engagements until he is fully recovered.
"As you can see, I am speaking to you while observing strict directives from my doctors to rest and limit my physical engagements. However, I want to assure you that even as I take this forced rest, my spirit, mind, and heart are fully present," he wrote.
Oburu acknowledged that he was aware of the dedication ceremony of the mausoleum, and shared the same commitment to its course and to the unity of Kenyans.
He thanked Ruto for gracing the occasion, and the Kenya Defence Forces for the remarkable job well done.
Oburu said that the mausoleum is not only a place of rest, but also a living center or democracy dedicated to the ideals of freedom, constitutionalism and the pursuit of justice.
"It will serve as a beacon for future generations to learn the price of liberty and the value of our national unity," the ODM Leader pointed out.
Oburu thanked Ruto for the national development witnessed across the country, but reckoned that infrastructure alone is not enough.
"We are urgently called upon to cascade down this development to human development through creating meaningful employment for our people. Our greatest concern today lies with our educated young men and women, who have gone through school but find themselves at a crossroads with job opportunities," he added.
