"We are waiting for some issues to clear up, and as you know, my role as the DP is to push for such projects," he stated

The DP also gave an update on the dualling of the road from Muthaiga Police Station to Kiambu Town at Ksh29 billion. He said that the contractor had already been paid some money to start the roadworks.
"We are doing a dual carriageway on the road from Muthaiga Police Station to Ndumberi, Kiambu Town. The contract has been given, and the contractor should already be on the site because he has already been paid," he added.
Kindiki said the government had earmarked 1,656 kilometres of road for tarmacking in Kiambu County alone at Ksh152 billion. He noted that so far, 358 kilometres have been tarmacked.
Ruto's Number Two asked the people of Kiambu to support the construction of the Rironi-Mau Summit road, stating that the county will benefit from the project.
"The Rironi-Mau Summit road is in progress and is a game changer for the economy of the Western side of Kiambu," he said.
The Deputy President assured Kiambu residents that the government is committed to fulfilling all promises it made to them in 2022. He said those who are still pessimistic about the projects will be proven wrong.
