In a statement, the Kalonzo Musyoka Presidential Advisory Council confirmed that the tribunal had discharged the orders, allowing the registration process to proceed.

The council said the tribunal had heard the matter earlier in the afternoon and that the discharge of the previous orders meant there was no longer a tribunal order blocking the alliance’s registration.
"The matter, PPDT/E007/2026, Allan Jayuga Akivaga v. Office of the Registrar of Political Parties & Wiper Democratic Movement - Kenya, was heard this afternoon. With those orders now discharged, no order of the Tribunal stands between TUA and registration," the statement added.
The council stated that the registrar could now proceed with the remaining steps required to conclude the process under the applicable legal framework.
"The Registrar of Political Parties is accordingly at liberty to proceed with and conclude the registration of The Ukombozi Alliance in accordance with the Political Parties Act and all other applicable laws," the statement further read.

This comes a day after the Jubilee Party appointed an Inter-Party Coalition Building Committee to review the draft agreement for the Ukombozi Alliance and explore ways of strengthening cooperation among opposition parties ahead of the 2027 General Election.
In a statement on Wednesday, October 28, the party said the decision was reached during a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting chaired by Jubilee Party Leader Fred Matiang'i on Tuesday, October 27.
"Recognizing Jubilee Party's membership in the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance and the importance of unity among opposition parties ahead of the 2027 General Election, the NEC appointed an Inter-Party Coalition Building Committee to spearhead engagements with other like-minded parties and coalitions," the statement read.
According to Jubilee Party, the committee will be chaired by Senator Kembi Gitura, with National Secretary General Moitalel Ole Kenta and Janet Ong'era serving as members.
Among its key responsibilities will be reviewing the draft Deed of Agreement for the Ukombozi Alliance (TUA) and proposing amendments where necessary.
The team will also engage other like-minded parties within the opposition to explore opportunities for cooperation and coalition building, while developing proposals aimed at strengthening unity and collaboration ahead of the 2027 polls.
Jubilee said the committee would submit its recommendations to the NEC, which will consider the proposals and provide further direction on the party's next steps.
"The NEC reaffirmed the Party's commitment to constructive dialogue, cooperation and the pursuit of a common agenda for the transformation of our country. Jubilee recognizes that building consensus and strengthening unity among opposition parties are essential in preparing for the 2027 General Election.
"The Committee is expected to report its recommendations to the NEC for consideration and further direction," the statement added.
