Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has urged Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka to join the Broad-based Government after he was allegedly booed during the launch of the Linda Mwananchi headquarters.
Speaking in Maralal on Friday, October 30, Mbadi opined that the Linda Mwananchi leaders not only allowed Kalonzo to be disrespected but also did nothing towards it because they are emotionally immature and have no emotional intelligence.

He said that their inexperience in politics manifested during the event because they failed to control their supporters.
"You cannot choose someone who has not been elected twice to become the President of Kenya. They must have experience. We have seen that they cannot even run a meeting of a few people," Mbadi said.

The CS urged Kalonzo to ditch the United Opposition and join President Ruto, promising better treatment and certainty that they will clinch the victory in the 2027 General Election.
"Kalonzo, when you were elected, Sifuna was just five years old, yet now he is disrespecting you. Leave them and join us so that we can form government because I do not doubt that Ruto will be re-elected," he said.
Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga also weighed in on the purported disrespect of the Wiper Patriotic Front Leader.
She questioned why Kalonzo, whom she revered as a statesman, could be disrespected by young politicians. Wanga further teased his supporters, questioning how they could allow their leader to be humiliated in such a manner.
"I am shocked that he can be looked down upon and be asked to sit down at such an event. To Kalonzo supporters, how can you allow him to be publicly looked down upon?" Wanga posed.
The Homa Bay County Chief opined that the disrespect shown to Kalonzo will manifest again on other leaders in the United Opposition, which will lead to its division.
Kalonzo found himself on the receiving end after he claimed that Sifuna was just a party leader and not yet the presidential candidate. The crowd began chanting Sifuna's name, forcing the Nairobi Senator to intervene.
"This is not a way to treat our guests. Just let us listen to them; we have been honoured by their presence, so let him finish," Sifuna said.
