The announcement came days aftet Kalonzo said that he had planned to visit the Luo Nyanza Region, days after Linda Mwananchi was attacked during a campaign tour in Homa Bay County.

Kalonzo said that the chaos witnessed does not reflect the true picture of the people from Luo Nyanza, whom he termed as peace loving.

The Wiper Leader claimed that the area's viters are wise enough to see beyond President William Ruto's gimmicks and charades. He claimed that they understood the relationship between Ruto and the late Raila and urged them to express their real feelings on the ballot.

He sensationally claimed that if he is picked to be the United Opposition's flagbearer, then he would beat Ruto in Luo Nyanza.

The tour comes a day after leaders from the region asked the former Vice President to join the Broad-based government after he was booed during the Linda Mwananchi event.

Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has urged Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka to join the Broad-based Government after he was allegedly booed during the launch of the Linda Mwananchi headquarters.

Mbadi opined that the Linda Mwananchi leaders not only allowed Kalonzo to be disrespected but also did nothing towards it because they are emotionally immature and have no emotional intelligence.

Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga questioned why Kalonzo, whom she revered as a statesman, could be disrespected by young politicians. Wanga further teased his supporters, questioning how they could allow their leader to be humiliated in such a manner.

"I am shocked that he can be looked down upon and be asked to sit down at such an event. To Kalonzo supporters, how can you allow him to be publicly looked down upon?" Wanga posed.
