Chaos rocked the Bikeke Police Station, Trans Nzoia County after irate residents stormed the station demanding the arrest of an officer they alleged was living with a student.
The angry residents claimed that the officer has been living with the Form 3 student at Milele Secondary School in Kiminini since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
The policer is said to have been transferred from Kiminini Police Station to Bikeke, and the girl has been a regular visitor to his residence.

Enraged, the residents raided the officer's house where they roughed him up, forcing him to flee to the police station.
“We found him with the girl in the house and he told us that the girl was over 18 years old and we want to know the truth,” one of the residents stated.
A crowd of over 200 people then stormed the Bikeke Police Station demanding the officer's arrest.
The girl's mother surfaced with documents indicating that her daughter is above 18 years. The irate residents, dismissed her claims, stating that she had been compromised by the officer due to her poverty.
“We know the mother has been compromised and she is being used to cover up the whole incident,” a resident was quoted as saying.
“It took me two days to get such a document. How come they have gotten it so easily? We are not fools and we want justice for the girl,” another villager added.
Other officers from the station intervened, disbursing the angry mob who threatened to torch the station to the ground.
“The matter has been taken by relevant authorities and is being investigated by relevant people," an officer from the station was quoted by a local daily as saying.
