Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti has made key changes to the investigative body's administration.
44 senior officers have been affected in the latest administrative shake-up conducted by Kinoti.
Nairobi DCI boss Bernard Nyakwaka has been moved to the airport division. Nyakwaka has spent less than three months at the Kiambu road headquarters of DCI after starting his service there in May 2021.

He replaces Joseph Mugwanja who has been recalled to serve at the DCI headquarters as has Fatuma Hadi who served as the DCI boss in Kilimani.
Hadi has been replaced by Stephen Ole Tanki, who led the Gigiri DCI unit.
Nyandarua DCI Boss Julius Rutere has also been recalled while his counterpart in Laikipia Francis Wanjau has been moved to Kisumu in a similar capacity.
The reshuffle sees Kitale DCI Boss Paul Wachira replace Assistant Inspector-General of Police Benson Nyakwaka.
In the confirmation of an appointment that was made in May 2021, Anti-Terror Police Unit boss John Gachomo will take over as the Head of Investigations from John Kariuki who retired at the end of June.
Mombasa ATPU boss John Otieno takes over Gachomo's post and is now in charge of the country's fight against terrorism.
Other changes are; the transfer of David Chebii from the anti-counterfeit division to the call centre, the promotion of Carry Nyawinda who will now head the banking fraud unit.
Pius Gitari has also been promoted to head the special service unit as Benard Gicheru takes over as the director of operations.
