President Uhuru Kenyatta during his Thursday visit to Kisumu disclosed details of his secret conversation with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga were in a private meeting at the Kisumu Yacht Club with the Head of State having a chat with a number of Luo Nyanza leaders.
In his address to the locals who turned up in large numbers, the President said he was contemplating seeking the blessings of the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta to have a helper from the region.
President Kenyatta, the leaders and the locals burst into laughter as many wondered whether the president was implying he'd want to get a wife from Luo Nyanza.

"Nilikua naambia Raila hapa jameni, sijui kama mama nyumbani ataniruhusu. Akiniruhusu, labda naeza kupata mtu anaweza kunitengenezea mambo yangu pande hii," the president stated.
The revelation sent the crowds into uncontrolled laughter. The president used the visit to appeal to Kenyans to fully support the BBI initiative.
He said the initiative is aimed at uniting the country, adding that citizens should read the report released on Wednesday.
He also launched a number of projects including directing for speedy construction of the 63km Kisumu-Mamboleo-Chemelil-Muhoroni road.
He said the road should be completed within 4 months ahead of his next visit in April 2021.
