Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali has hit out at Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho telling him that Deputy President William Ruto is not his political equal.
Speaking on Saturday during a UDA event, the former 'Jicho Pevu' journalist attacked Governor Joho going to the extent of reminding him that he was implicated in a drug-dealing scandal in parliament.
"Juzi mnaifanya unafiki katika shere inayotambulika katika kalenda ya Uislamu, eti mnatuambia mambo ya Ruto. There is nothing else you can tell us apart from Ruto," the charged lawmaker told the crowd.

He went on to demand that Governor Joho concentrates on development projects claiming that he (Hon Ali) did more with his Ksh 130 million CDF than Joho did with Mombasa's Ksh 13 billion annual budget.
"While other counties are investing in education, Joho is investing in Katerina," Hon Ali said in reference to the Governor's apparent love for publicity.
Hon. Ali went on to sensationally claim that his life was in danger daring those interested in killing him to look into his eyes while doing so.
Hon Ali's outburst was in response to a speech made by Governor Joho on Wednesday during Idd Ul Adha celebrations in Mombasa.
Governor Joho attacked Deputy President William Ruto over his initiative where he has been handing out wheelbarrows.
He questioned Ruto's sincerity as the Deputy President had been in government since 2013.
"He should have brought the wheelbarrows in 2013," Governor Joho said as he urged Agriculture CS Peter Munya to lead the Mt Kenya region in abandoning DP Ruto.
