Footage from a CCTV camera from the home of Lawyer Hassan Nandwa has revealed that seven armed men went to his house on Thursday, October 28, 2021, and ransacked it.
This was before the lawyer was allegedly abducted.
The heavily-armed men walked into the apartment and went to the eighth floor where Nandwa's house is located.

His son, Elmiqdad Hassan, revealed that he heard a knock on the door and went to check out who it was, only to find men in civilian clothes armed to the teeth.
"Upon checking, I found that there were plainclothes officers who were armed to the teeth. Their look was very fierce and I was frightened," he recalled.
"They told me that they wanted to do a search but they did not have a search warrant," he added.
According to the family, Nandwa had told them that he was going to process the release of a client who had served 10 years in prison.
However, later in the day, his mobile phone was switched off, something they termed as unusual.
When they asked the 'plainclothed police officers' what they were looking for, they said they were searching for ex-convict Elgiva Bwire, an Al Shabaab militant that had just been released from prison.
"They told us that they had no issue with the old man and that they wanted the other man," Hassan stated.
The abduction of Nandwa took place at the same time as that of the convict's mother Jacinta Bwire, who was kidnapped in Muthaiga, along with former Westlands Member of Parliament Fred Gumo's driver, Willis Otieno.
However, Jacinta and Otieno were released on Saturday, October 30, and Sunday, October 31, respectively.
Nandwa's whereabouts remain unknown.
He is said to have represented the terror convict, Bwire in the case that saw his sentence reduced to 10 years.
The reason behind the lawyer's abduction also remains unknown.
