ODM leader Raila Odinga has disclosed that he spoke with Kalonzo Musyoka before Today's Azimio la Umoja meeting at Wote, Makueni County.
The former premier was hosted on Friday, November 12, 2021, by Governors Alfred Mutua, Kivutha Kibwana, and Charity Ngilu in Ukambani.
Immediately he began to address the gathering in Makueni, Odinga delivered greetings from President Uhuru Kenyatta and Kalonzo.
"Niliongea na Kalonzo jana usiku. Nikamwambia mimi nateremka huku Wote, mimi naenda kujaribu kuwauliza wakamba maoni yao, akaniambia ukifika peleka salamu zangu," Odinga told the crowd.
The former premier also added that he had received a new name from a Kamba delegation he had hosted.

"I recently received a delegation from Kitui, Makueni, and Machakos and they gave me the name Ngumbao," he told the gathering amid cheers.
Rooting for his economic agenda, Odinga vowed to bring more resources to the counties and ensure they're used effectively to benefit the people.
"Bottom-up is not a new thing. We brought a proper government down to the counties. What now remains is to bring more resources to the counties and ensure they are used effectively. That was the intention of BBI," he said.
The three Governors, Mutua, Ngilu, and Kibwana vowed to work with Odinga ahead of the 2022 general election.
Kitui Governor Ngilu said, "We must bring all leaders together and I can be the chair. In 2002 we came together to bring unity. I am now seeing a repeat exercise that we have gone through before. We don’t want piracy in our country."
On his part, Governor Mutua said," We want our country to be free from empty bureaucracy. I want to congratulate Raila for constructing Mbagathi way. At least he can show what he has done."
