Dr. Miguna Miguna has produced a message he received from Air France as evidence to showcase that red alerts were issued blocking him from traveling back to Kenya.
This comes hours after High Court Judge Hedwig Ong’undi squashed Miguna’s application to lift the red alerts, adding that there was no evidence to prove they existed.
Miguna remarked in a post that Air France and Lufthansa reached out to him in a written communication indicating that he was barred from boarding.

“On January 7, 2020, Air France published written communication that it had received a ‘Request from Kenyan authorities to deny me boarding.’ It also confirmed that Lufthansa had received the same. I do not know what was placed before Ong’udi J. But this is evidence,” Miguna revealed.
Not yet satisfied, Miguna announced that his earlier plans of coming to the country were still intact.
He then wondered why Justice Ong’undi did not address the court order disobeyed by the security officials.
“I will proceed with my journey as previously communicated and in accordance with Justice Chacha Mwita’s Order of December 14, 2018, and Justice Weldon Korir’s Order of January 6, 2020. If I am blocked again, the matter will return to court. If not, see you soon. Viva!
“On December 14, 2018, Justice Chacha Mwita ordered the Government of Kenya, Minister of Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi, Major General (Rtd) Dr. Kihalangwa, the Attorney General Kihara Karikuki.
“Inspector General of Police (Rtd) Joseph K. Boinnet and others to facilitate my return to Kenya. They have continued to disobey that valid court Order. But Justice Ong’udi did not address this issue,” Miguna revealed.
Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga and the Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi anticipated his coming back to the country.
