Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malalah has told President Uhuru Kenyatta to endorse ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi instead of his Handshake partner Raila Odinga.
Speaking at ANC party headquarters in Lavington on Thursday, December 3, Senator Malala told the Head of State that the ODM leader has never supported him.
"We would wish to remind the President that when no one believed in him, Mudavadi stood by him. He even lost his Sabatia seat because he stood with you, Mr President. He went against his people just to stand with you.
"In 2013, you promised to support him but you ended up reneging. 2017 we have stood with your government. If there is someone you owe it is Mudavadi because Raila has never supported you," Malala said.

Malalah was addressing the President's speech in Nakuru on Wednesday, December 3, where he endorsed Raila for the presidency.
The vocal senator said he did not agree with President's move adding that he and ANC youths will rally behind Mudavadi.
"I was very happy when Nakuru County was being conferred with city status. But when the President began saying we should support Raila I felt very disturbed. We as youths have agreed that we will support the ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi up to the ballot," he said.
The Senator at the same time warned the President against trusting his future on his successor revealing the move has failed elsewhere.
"In Angola, President Santos endorsed his successor. But his successor is the one taking him to Jail. Be careful Mr President with what you are doing," he added.
