Senior Counsel Ahmedanasir Abdullahi and his counterpart-cum politician Martha Karua have differed over the former's assessment of Chief Justice Martha Koome and her predecessors.
It all began when Lawyer Ahmednasir analysed the regions where the three former CJs appointed their chief of staff.
"CJ Willy Mutunga, Akamba by Ethnicity had a Luo Chief of Staff. CJ David Maraga a Kisii by ethnicity had a Kisii Chief of Staff. CJ Koome.....by ethnicity has a........Chief of Staff. NAUGHTY Kenyans notice SMALL things," Ahmedansir tweeted and tagged Karua.

In response, Karua termed her assessment as a "pathetic way to measure someone".
In a rejoinder, the Nairobi lawyer told off the politician saying she should stop pretending that Kenyans never assess their leaders based on the tribe of their appointees.
According to Ahmednasir, Karua has soft spot for CJ Koome and will do anything to defend her; something he termed "nauseating".
"Stop pretending that Kenya has another way of measure....your pretence when it comes to CJ KOOME and her office is, to say the least, revolting as it is nauseating!" he replied.
CJ Koome had congratulated her Chief of staff Rose Wachuka for being recognised as one of the Top 40 under 40 women of the year when Lawyer Ahmednasir weighed in with his analysis.
"I congratulate my Chief of Staff @RWachuka on being recognised by the Business Daily as one of the Top 40 under 40 Women for the year 2021. I also congratulate the other awardees and encourage you to inspire others to spur excellence in every institution in our country," she tweeted.
