Sensational Kenyan singer Wilson Abubakar Radido, popularly known as Willy Paul, has taken a cue from hosts of celebrities who have declared interest in political seats in the 2022 general elections.
In a short but candid statement on his Instagram page, Willy Paul has thrown his hat on the ring for the Mathare parliamentary seat.
According to the My Woman hitmaker, his entry into politicos seeks to bring change.
"Are you ready Mathare? Let's bring the change," he wrote.
Willy Paul will be seeking to oust MP Anthony Oluoch who was 2017 elected on an ODM ticket.

He is yet to declare the party he will use to contest for the seat.
He joins a list of celebrities who have declared interest in several elective seats in the country.
They include Jalang'o who is eyeing Lang'ata parliamentary seat, MC Jessie( South Imenti seat), Stephen Kasolo (Mulango Ward in Kitui County).
Strarehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi popularly known as Jaguar is the only singer who successfully vied for a parliamentary seat and won in 2017 polls.
