Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili, alias Babu Owino, has denied being the one filmed in a video trying to separate a group of women fighting at a music concert.
In a statement, the MP said he was with his wife at their home and that she can confirm the same.
This comes after a section of Kenyans concluded that the man captured in a viral video recording trying to bring peace between two conflicting groups of women was the MP.

The incident allegedly happened at a music concert headlined by the Jamaican artist, Konshens, on new year's eve.
"With due respect, I was not at the Konshens’ party, and the man purported to be me in the video doing rounds is NOT me.
"The time Konshens was performing I was also performing on my wife and she can attest to this. People at the Konshens’ party should also confirm that I was not there," Babu said.
The alleged video has gone viral on social media with Babu's name dominating social media reactions to the incident.
Others raised concerns about why he was attending such a function considering that his last known public appearance at an entertainment function left one severely injured after a confrontation.
This is after he allegedly shot DJ Evolve, known by his official name as Felix Orinda, after a brief confrontation in January 2020.
The incident left the Deejay hospitalized for months and he is yet to get back on his feet to date.
The two, however, agreed to solve the matter out of court as they push for DJ Evolve's recovery.
