President Uhuru Kenyatta is mourning the death of city lawyer Nani Njoroge.
Njoroge passed away on Friday while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital after a long illness.
In his message of condolence to Njoroge's family and friends, the President remembered Mr Njoroge as an accomplished lawyer whose service to the nation shall be dearly missed.
Until his demise, Njoroge was the Chairman of the Postal Corporation Board of Directors.
He has preciously represented the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in the 2013 presidential election petition and The Kiambu County Assembly in the senate, in their impeachment case for former Governor Ferdinand Waititu.
The Head of State prayed to God to grant the family, friends and relatives of Mr Njoroge divine fortitude at this difficult period of mourning.
We at NairobiLeo.co.ke pray that the family of the decorated lawyer find peace and comfort amid the huge loss.
