Tabitha noted that she wanted to ensure that laws that are passed will not be used to sabotage and harass businesses.
Addressing the crowd, Tabitha mentioned that she had listened to DP Ruto and what the people had told her and settled on UDA.
"To the DP, I have listened to you and I have practised that for the last twenty five years and I am a practical example of bottom-up. I ask you when you make the Cabinet, remember the problem businesses have gone through. You should know that we want a conducive environment for businesses. High taxation has brought down companies," she stated.
DP William Ruto and his new political partners Musalia Mudavadi, and Moses Wetang’ula held their first joint rally in Eldama Ravine, Baringo county on Wednesday.
They later proceeded to Nakuru County where they are popularising their bottom-up and Uchumi bora economic models.
"For those who are pitching a tent in hotels thinking that they will decide for us our future will be in for a rude shock," DP Ruto said in one of the rallies.
At the same time, Mudavdi hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta for criticising his decision to join Ruto's camp.
"Mr President, you have a right to be disappointed with me. But, I want to tell you: Kenyans are even more disappointed in you. They are hungry, they are tired. Let's not lie to each other," he said.
