Amani National Congress (ANC) party boss Musalia Mudavadi has left the country for a 10-day visit to the United States and the United Kingdom.
In a statement, Mudavadi's Presidential Campaign Secretariat said the former Vice President left the country for the visit on Sunday morning, February 27.
"The Amani National Congress leader is responding to invitations by top State officials, key multi-sectoral policymakers and respectable democratic institutions both in Washington DC and London," read a statement.
Mudavadi is expected to address Kenyans living in the diaspora and elucidate his economic blueprint, further explaining how it will resuscitate Kenya’s economy after the August 9 polls.

Deputy President William Ruto also left the country on Sunday morning for his 10-day visit to the US and the UK.
The DP was accompanied by Turkana Governor Josephat Nanok and his Kwale counterpart Salim Mvurya.
According to DP Ruto’s campaign secretariat, the trip was occasioned by invites from senior government officials and top policy institutes of the US and the UK.
The DP is scheduled to take part in a conversation on foreign policy, the future of governance, and economic development in Kenya, East Africa, and the African continent.
DP Ruto is expected to speak at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and at the University of Arizona's Washington Entrepreneurship Hub.
He is also set to meet officials of the State Department and the Pentagon as well as the US Government National Security Council (NSC) Advisor.
