Sixteen boda boda riders have been arrested after a viral video of a female driver being sexually harassed along Wangari Maathai road formerly known as Forest Road.
In an update by the National Police Service (NPS), five bikes were also impounded in connection with the assault.
"Sixteen (16) suspects have been arrested and five motor cycles impounded in connection with an earlier attack on a motorist. Operations continues as we appeal for more information from the public," police said.
The suspects are currently being detained at the Parklands Police Sation in Nairobi.
Police on Monday launched a manhunt for the boda boda riders who were caught on camera assaulting the female driver.

The video, which went viral on social media, stirred emotions as Kenyans called for action.
The police immediately responded stating that they had launched investigations.
"Our attention has been drawn to a distasteful video circulating on social media of Boda boda riders attacking a motorist after an alleged road traffic accident. The rowdy gang went ahead and stripped the lady off her clothes.
"The matter is under active investigations. We have since identified some of the perpetrators and they will be presented before a court of law upon completion of investigations," police said.

Interior CS Fred Matiang'i condemned the incident stating, "I am shocked and disgusted by a viral video clip of a female motorist being molested by suspected boda boda riders along Wangari Maathai /Forest Road. We must protect our roads from such vile and reprehensible acts of aggression.
"I have asked our security agents to ensure that all the perpetrators of this dastardly act are swiftly apprehended and suitably punished for their heinous act."
