Jubilee Vice-chairman David Murathe now says that Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga will win the August 9 polls with or without the votes of Mt Kenya.
Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV, Murathe argue that Odinga's vote base was still intact and would get some votes that he never got from Mt. Kenya in the previous elections.
Murathe argued that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance had hypothecated their whole game on Mt. Kenya votes.
"Raila is winning this election with or without the votes of the people of Mt. Kenya. They better decide whether he is winning it with them onboard or without them," Murathe stated.

In the wide-ranging interview, Murathe dared Deputy president William Ruto to resign since he had been nominated as UDA presidential candidate.
"DP Ruto should be man enough and resign. Once you have defected from the party that sponsored you to parliament, a vacancy is declared. All those promoting the affairs of other parties will be deemed to have resigned from the party," he said.
The Jubilee vice-chairman defended President Uhuru Kenyatta's decision to endorse the former prime minister.
"They are full of contradictions. The other day, they said they don’t need the President’s support. The minute the President chooses to support somebody else, they start throwing tantrums," Murathe stated.
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was supposed to appear on the show to debate with Murathe but pulled out at the last minute.
Kurai is on the spot after saying they rigged votes for President Uhuru Kenyatta in the previous polls during the UDA NDC at Kasarani.
