Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha is this Monday expected to release the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams results.

The release of the results comes barely a month after the students' sat for the exams.

Candidates who sat for the exams, their parents and even schools can check the results of their students through the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) Websites or through an SMS platform that is always created during the exam period.

The SMS platform is always deemed the most convenient way of knowing the results as soon as possible.

The platform will start working immediately the KCPE exam results is released by CS Magoha.

For the SMS option, candidates can send their index number, followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters) to 20076 in order to access the results.

Candidates should keep in mind that they should not put spacing between their index numbers and the initials KCPE.

The SMS platform will charge Ksh25 for each SMS sent for exam result inquiry.

The system is always clogged with so many requests and this may lead to delays in requesting answers.

The Kenya National Examinations Council registered a total of 1,225,507 candidates in 28,316 KCPE examination centres as compared to 1,191,752 candidates in 28,467 centres in 2020.
