Safina presidential candidate Jimi Wanjigi has said that he will waive all taxes for parents with more than six children if he’s elected President in the upcoming August polls.
Speaking on Sunday, April 10 in Murang’a, the businessman said that in his government, the more children parents would have, the less taxes they would pay.
“Serikali yangu mkizaa watoto watatu tunapunguza tax. Mkizaa wanne tunapunguza zaidi. Mkizaa watano tunapunguza kabisa. Mkifika sita inang’olewa kabisa,” Wanjigi stated.
Which loosely translates to: “If you bear three children in my government, we will lower your taxes. Four kids, we will lower tax even further. Five kids, we will lower taxes completely. Six kids, we will waive all taxes.”

Wangiji, who drummed support for his presidential bid, further promised to champion for laws that centre on the family set up.
The first-time presidential aspirant further said that he would face off with Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga on the ballot in the August election.
His party had earlier invited the DP to form the government if it took over power from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The party also asked Ruto to form the government with it if his Kenya Kwanza Alliance outfit assumed power.
