The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has postponed the nominations for Nakuru Town West parliamentary seat.
In the press statement issued by UDA on Tuesday, April 12, the party said the postponement was due to unforeseen circumstances.
"NEB therefore also announces that due to unforeseen exigencies it has postponed nominations for Nakuru Town West parliamentary seat," the statement read in part.
UDA had announced that all their nominations would be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
The party has now moved the Nakuru Town West nominations to April 19, 2022, alongside those of Nandi Hills constituency which were earlier postponed.
Deputy President William Ruto has in the previous week intensified efforts to strike consensus among aspirants seeking various seats on UDA ticket ahead of party primaries this week.
The DP has brokered at least eight political deals from his Karen boardroom.
