Safaricom has provided a link where you can confirm your sim details as well as registration.

The link prompts you to input your number before you receive a code on your personal number.

Once you input the code on the website, a message pops up to confirm whether your line is registered or not. You also have the option of updating your details.

Here is the Safaricom link to check your details. https://safaricom.com/account/kyc-upload

Communications Authority Director-General Ezra Chiloba warned Kenyans that they will be switched off if they don't register and update their sim card details by April 15, 2022.

"If you don't do that (register) the telcos are going to switch you off. Looking at the situation across the country, the compliance rate is not good at all which means the risks are even much higher," he said.

Long queues have been witnessed across the country in Safaricom shops as Kenyans rush to beat today's deadline.
