The registrar of political parties has cleared over 40 candidates to vie for President in the August polls.
The candidates are seeking to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta as he exits.
The most popular candidates in the presidential race are Raila Odinga, William Ruto, and Jimi Wanjigi.
The cleared candidates will now be required to forward their names and that of their running mates to IEBC on or before the May 16 deadline to be cleared.
The candidates who have been cleared by the registrar are;
