Ruto said he got the money from the sale of his farm produce

On Sunday, Deputy President William Ruto donated a total of Ksh500,000 to help in clearing a car debt owed to a Kitale church bishop.

While attending a Sunday mass service at St. Peter’s Claver Catholic Church Kiminini, Trans-Nzoia County, Ruto said he will help in offsetting the remaining amount.

Interestingly, Ruto narrated how his farm manager visited him on Saturday and gave him the money reportedly gotten from the sale of his farm products (eggs, Avocados and Chicken).

According to the DP, the manager reminded him to take the money and donate in church as thanksgiving. He said it was God's miracle that he was asked to assist in clearing the debt when he had actually carried the same exact amount to the church.

"The chairman has told me you bought the car, but the logbook is still with the owner because you have not cleared the whole amount. God works in miraculous ways because when I got home yesterday evening, my farm manager came over to see me. He told me they had sold avocado, chicken and eggs and gave me Ksh500,000 to take to church.

It is miraculous because the money I was given to take to church actually belonged to this church to clear the car's debt. Kindly take the money and clear the debt so that you can get the logbook" stated Ruto amid cheers from the congregation.

The DP was accompanied by Party leaders including Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya), National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi and Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka among others.

He later attended Trans-Nzoia County Economic Forum at Kitale Club Grounds before interacting with residents of Kiminini as he spread the Bottom-up economic gospel
