Details of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance Agreement deposited at the registrar of parties have sparked massive debates on social media.
The Kenya Kwanza Alliance is made of three founding members who include the ANC party led by Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetang'ula's Ford Kenya and the UDA party led by DP William Ruto.
In their coalition agreement deposited at the Registrar of Political parties, Mudavadi will be allocated the seat of Prime Cabinet Secretary which will be created through an executive order in the event Ruto wins the presidency.
However, the executive order can be challenged in court because it cannot change the structure of government.
For Wetangula, he has been allocated the National Assembly speakers seat. The two leaders, however, will have to bring 70 per cent of Western Kenya votes to the DP.

The 70 per cent of votes they are required to deliver will be from 5 counties: Vihiga, Kakamega, Busia, Bungoma and Trans Nzoia.
The details of the coalition agreement further detail that Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi will be made the Speaker of the Senate.
To earn the position, Kingi will be required to bring 50 per cent of 582,631 Kilifi votes to Kenya Kwanza. Further, the Governor will be required to also win the five parliamentary seats in Kilifi.
For Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, he will get a cabinet position and if not, he will have a fallback plan of being nominated to the National Assembly and be made a majority leader.
To earn the favours, Mutua will be required to bring on board 35 per cent of the 1.7 million Ukambani votes.
Here are how Kenyans reacted to the developments:

Kama hii si utapeli sijui utapeli ni nini! Meanwhile, ukipea mtu kitu si umpee tu @WilliamsRuto. Hio target umewekea omwami Weta na Mesi si afadhali uwanyonge bas. It will be easier for a wheelbarrow to go through the eye of a needle than for them to get 70% of western! Salaale!

For Musalia Mudavadi to be Chief Cabinet Minister & Moses Wetang’ula to be National Assembly Speaker, they must deliver 70% of the Luhya Vote to uda! If they deliver 69.9%, they walk away with nothing! No other leader has been given a threshold. My friend has played some people!

In the Kenya Kwanza deal, Mudavadi and Wetangula must deliver 70% of Western Kenya votes for Mudavadi to qualify for appointment as Chief Minister. Ei bwana. Doesn't Ruto know that Mudavadi is a total orphan?

How can Musalia Mudavadi and Wetangula deliver 70% of Western Kenya? DP Ruto knows very well they cannot. He's just trying to tell them that the 30% of gov't you're asking should I win is not tenable. Ruto would have only helped them to cut weight due to rigorous campaigns.

Where is Mutua with his Chap Chap party? And most importantly, where is Chama cha Kazi? Anyway, Mudavadi to become Waziri Mkuu through a presidential executive order if he manages to deliver 70% of Western Kenya.
