Nandi County Senator Samson Cherargei has told off his Narok counterpart Ledama Ole Kina after his Twitter post criticizing President Uhuru's government.
This was after Ledama, through a Twitter post, lamented over alleged brewing corruption in the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining.
According to the ODM senator, the ministry had gone against the law by putting up an open tender for the delivery of 10 months' supply of fuel.
Ledama faulted the ministry saying it went against the law requiring that fuel tenders be put up after every month.
"Anticipation of A New Government is fueling corruption in the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining! How do you put in an open tender for the delivery of 10 months' supply of fuel yet the law requires you to put a tender for fuel every month? Mr. PS Wacha Ukora bwana! We will not allow you," lamented Ledama.

However, Senator Cherargei responded to his tweet, telling off Ledama over his cries. He told Ledama to ask the former Prime Minister claimed he was in Government.
"Uliza Raila yuko kwa serikali stop opposing government you are part of; beba msalaba wa jubilee pole pole (Ask Raila that since he is in government...carry Jubilee's cross in peace," stated Cherargei.
The Narok Senator is expected to face a real test on August 9, when he will face off with the incumbent Governor Samuel Tunai in the senatorial race.
Tunai will be running on Deputy President William Ruto's UDA party after his second term as a governor comes to an end.
On the other hand, Cherargei is expected to have a smooth sail in Nandi after securing a UDA party ticket during the April 14th nominations. Cherargei defeated Emgwen MP Alex Kosgei to clinch the ticket.
