Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i and his ICT counterpart Joe Mucheru have arrived at KICC, Nairobi where ODM leader Raila Odinga is expected to name his running mate from.
The arrival of Matiang'i sends a bold political message considering that he hold a crucial ministry that is expected to play a huge role in the August polls.
Raila was to name his running mate at 11 am but that is not yet to happen with reports indicating that there are negotiations still ongoing.
Raila received three names from the Azimio selection panel that conducted interviews on Monday and Tuesday.
The names were submitted in order of priority.

Sources say Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua, Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka were the three names submitted to Raila.
Also present at KICC is the Azimio selection panel that vetted about 10 candidates.
Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, who had arrived at KICC earlier, left for Kalonzo's Command centre in Karen where they are reportedly having a closed-door meeting.
