Agano Party presidential candidate David Mwaure has challenged Azimio la Umoja coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga to produce his degree certificate.
Addressing the press on Saturday afternoon, Mwaure challenged Raila to produce his academic qualifications including his degree certificate as being demanded of other leaders including Nairobi County Gubernatorial aspirant Johnson Sakaja.
He said he is among those who have been waiting for Raila to publicly declare his credentials in vain.
He wondered why Raila and others have been cleared in the past without letting Kenyans know his specific qualifications and whether he really has a valid degree or not.
"I am among many Kenyans who are still waiting for Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga to reveal his degree certificate to the public. People have been cleared to run yet they do not have certificates yet the law requires such," he stated

At the same time, the Agano party leader commended the IEBC, saying they should go deeper into their investigations to flush out all aspirants who do not have the required academic qualifications.
He also challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta to expose all those involved in Kemsa, NYS, and Anglo-leasing scandals. According to Mwaure, Uhuru and his government should not take Kenyans for a ride and should come out to expose all those involved in the scandal.
"Our president still has got time to bring down the cost of living, and fuel prices. You are in government and you know where the money has gone unless you are part of it. You should stop pushing Kenyans to the corner.
"Those who are in Kenya Kwanza have been telling us that those who are in Azimio camp are the ones who stole Kemsa's money. The same with those who are in Azimio, stop taking us for fools, Uhuru's government should bring all those involved into book," he added
Mwaure becomes the second Presidential candidate to question Raila's degree certificate after UDA party presidential candidate William Ruto.
Speaking recently during Kenya Kwanza political rally at the Kidundu Stadium in Vihiga County, Ruto posed four questions in a bid to suggest that Odinga’s academic qualifications are questionable
Ruto demanded Raila make public his qualifications, claiming that nobody knows exactly where he studied, his course, his classmates, and his lecturers
Despite this, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has also pronounced itself on the matter, saying the commission was satisfied with the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential candidate’s academic qualifications.
