"Uhuru amemtoroka Raila. Sasa Uhuru amemwambia wewe mwenyewe jitetee. Alikua anajificha nyuma ya Uhuru, tukijaribu kumlenga tunaona the President, Uhuru amemhepa and now Raila is our moving target everywhere on air, land and sea. Tutamchapa na kumnyorosha kisiasa," Wetangula said.

The Kenya Kwanza principle claimed Uhuru was fronting Raila to extend his rule beyond August.
Wetangula in the company of Kenya Kwanza Presidential candidate William Ruto and Musalia Mudavadi of ANC had attended the launch of John Ololtuaa's parliamentary bid at Enoosaen in Kilgoris, Narok County.
Among the Kenya Kwanza leaders who accompanied the three to the region include; Narok County Governor and UDA's candidate for the county's senatorial seat Samuel Ole Tunai, Patrick Ole Ntutu, Soipan Tuya, Gabriel Tongoyo, Rebecca Tonkei, David Sankok, Ndindi Nyoro, and Charles Njagua, among others.
Ruto and his team are racing against time to sway the Maa nation away from Raila Odinga's grip. The region has been considered one of the battlegrounds between the two.
