Suna East MP Junet Mohamed is a popular political figure in Kenya's political setting.
Being one of the few leaders who are close associates of ODM leader Raila Odinga, Junet has cut an image of a firebrand politician who shoots from the hip.
But as he is busy accompanying Odinga for campaigns across the country, his wife Faiza Deka Jamaa has filled his void in Suna East and has hit the ground campaign for him massively.
Video footage of Jamaa campaigning on social media has amazed Kenyans who were surprised by her mastery of the Dholuo language, leave alone her bold, articulate and fearless speech.
Junet and his wife are of Somali origin. Junet was born and bred in Migori county where his father relocated to set up a wholesale business.

In the video seen by Nairobi Leo, Jamaa is seen and heard charming residents of Suna East to re-elect his husband.
She was campaigning for Junet and area ODM senate candidate Eddy Okech.
"I'm asking you to support Eddy, for the senate seat... I'm pleading with you to do that for my sake.
"Raila wants you to vote for those who are in ODM. He wants his team that will help him when he ascends to power. People like Eddy and Junet," she said in Dholuo.
She added, "And to Eddy, when you give them something, I'll ensure I top it up, you know me, I never leave our supporters without a token of appreciation.
"Raila is not in for a voting pattern of mix and match and you should tell those who are running on other tickets other than ODM to know time is up. Everyone must go back to their homes."
The Video of her speech has gone viral with Kenyans reacting to it.
