The family of Machakos Senator Boniface Mutinda Kabaka has now denied that the latter collapsed inside a woman's apartment at Kilimani in Nairobi County.
The family claims that the Senator fainted while having a drink at a restaurant in Kilimani.
“The senator collapsed on Thursday while having a drink at a restaurant in Kilimani area but was still conscious and he requested the management to call for an ambulance to rush him to Nairobi Hospital,” part of the statement read.
In the statement issued by the family on Saturday, they urged the public to ignore what they termed as 'malicious rumors' being spread by callous people.
However, according to a police statement on Friday, Senator Kabaka checked-in at an apartment on Elgeyo Marakwet Road Thursday alongside a woman identified as Esther Muli.
