The IEBC boss explained that all media houses have equal access to their portal and that they could be using different technique to tally the results.

As such he said other could be ahead while other behind depending on technology they are using and resources deployed by the respective media houses.

"There should be no panic because of the differences seen on the TV screens because of the approaches the media houses might have taken," he said.

He exuded confidence that the media will harmonise its tally at the end of the day because they are from the same portal.

At the same time, he said he is the only one who will announce the presidential results.

"I want to inform Kenyans that the final announcement and declaration of presidential results will be done here by the national returning officers here at Bomas of Kenya," he said.

He added:

"The collecting and announcement of results in a majority of constituencies is complete and the returning offices have now started to physically deliver the results of forms 34A and 34B at Bomas," he said.
