Narc Kenya party leader Martha karua has broken her silence moments after UDA presidential candidate William Ruto was declared President elect by IEBC.
In a tweet on Monday moments after the declaration by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, Karua said that it was not all over until it was over.
"It is not over till it is over," Ms. Karua tweeted.
Ruto clinched victory in the tightly contested general election after garnering 7,176,141 million votes with his closest competitor Raila Odinga of Azimio garnering 6,942,930 votes.
Speaking moments after getting his certificate, the president elect said that there was no loser in the election adding that Kenyans won.

He further thanked Raila for engaging in a campaign that dwelled on issues affecting the people of Kenya.
“I want to thank my worthy competitor, Hon Raila Odinga, for a campaign that we all dwelled on issues and we tried to sell an agenda to the people of Kenya. I want to promise that I will work with all elected leaders,” Ruto stated.
Ruto said that he will run transparent government adding that the people of Kenya had raised the political bar.
"I will run a transparent, open, democratic government. And I will work with the opposition to the extent that they provide oversight over my administration,” he said.
The president elect further stated that his opponents had nothing to fear.
“I will build on the foundation that President Kenyatta and I put together, and take this country to the next level. I know many are wondering, especially those who have done many things against us, I want to tell them that they have nothing to fear," Ruto stated.
