Elizabeth Munyalo, who was stabbed six times by her estranged husband, has disclosed that her former lover was a violent man.
Dennis Musyoka, after attempting to kill Elizabeth before she managed to leave the car, set himself on fire and their two-year-old daughter.
Elizabeth escaped death by a whisker on Sunday after she managed to open the door of the car before being rushed to the hospital by a good samaritan.
The deceased requested her ex-wife Elizabeth to bring their daughter to him so that they could spend time with her.
According to the CCTV footage, the car was parked outside a building before Elizabeth is seen struggling to open the car of her door.
Elizabeth mentioned that Musyoka was angry when he refused to give him the baby when he was celebrating his birthday on Saturday.
"We had domestic issues last year and we parted ways. I moved from the house we used to live but the issue was the baby; after I shifted Musyoka said I had to give him access. I later decided that I would allow him to be spending time with the kid.
"I was not available on Saturday when he was celebrating his birthday but I told him I would leave the baby with him on Sunday instead. When I arrived on Sunday, he entered the car before brandishing a knife and said that he would kill us," Elizabeth stated.
According to Elizabeth, the ex-lover used to track her movements and threaten her before she reported the incident to the police.
Their daughter was rescued and rushed to mama Lucy's hospital before she was moved to Kenyatta hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
