Tiaty Member of Parliament (MP) William Kamket has joined President-elect William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza coalition. 

Kamket was received by Ruto on Thursday, September 1, at his Karen home in Nairobi County. 

"Working together is imperative for the full realization of the economic objectives we promised the people of Kenya.

"I am pleased to welcome Tiaty MP William Kamket to Kenya Kwanza," Ruto stated as he welcomed the legislator.

William Kamket has joined President-elect William Ruto

The legislator has in the past days expressed willingness to work with the President-elect saying that he was a phone call away incase Ruto needed him. 

"William Ruto is my friend, being a Kalenjin like me, I will not join a team of people who want to see my brother down. We may differ on other things but I must protect his success with all my body organs. 

"I'm not doing so because I want favours from his government but because he won fairly. A man who doesn't want to see your brother succeeding will also be jealous of your success when you succeed," Kamket recently said.
