Miguna had said he would leave Canada on October 24 and arrive on October 25, before he made the changes.

The lawyer was first deported on February 6, 2018, and again on March 29, 2018.

During the saga, his passport was confiscated.

Miguna, however, received his new passport on Wednesday, following a directive by President William Ruto.

"1687 days after Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, Fred Matiang'i, Karanja kibicho and G Kihalangwa conspired to illegally seize and destroy my Kenyan Passport, President William Ruto has had a new one delivered to me. Waiting for the lifting of red alerts," he said.
