Outgoing Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha will be going back to teaching once he hands over the office to new CS nominee Ezekiel Machogu.
Machogu is awaiting vetting by the National Assembly before taking the role.
Speaking during the World Teachers Days celebrations , organinzed by KNUT in Kirinyaga County on Monday, Magoha said he will also keep himself busy with his surgical clinic.
"I am also going back to my surgical clinic just to do a little because I want to enjoy life like the other. I believe that I have given enough back to society," he said on Monday.
While explaining his return to the teaching profession, Magoha did not reveal the institution he will be getting back to.

The CS previously worked as a lecturer at the University of Nairobi where he rose ranks to the position of Vice-Chancellor.
He also worked as a medical lecturer at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital and as a urological surgery lecturer at UoN.
Magoha had expressed willingness to continue serving as Education CS if engaged by President William Ruto but the head of state did not consider him for the role.
During his tenure, Magoha has remained one of the defendants of the Competency Based Curriculum that has been dogged with controversy,
The outgoing CS has maintained that the CBC is the best thing for the country and Kenya children urging stakeholders not to scrap it.
