The MP was reported missing after boarding an Uber from Kilimani area to Tom Mboya street.

Bududa District Member of Parliament (MP) in Uganda Mr. David Wakikona who had been reported missing has been found.

A source who spoke to Nairobileo.co.ke disclosed that the legislator went to Eldoret and then later to Uganda.  

"Mr. Wakikona is safe and has already travelled back to Uganda," the source told this journalist. 

According to a police report filed on 9/10/2022, the legislator was reported missing after boarding an Uber from the Kilimani area to the City Center.

Mr. Wakikona was reported missing by his colleagues Mr. Tallbet Kibet and Mr. Emmanuel Opio with whom they had checked in at Samura court. 

Later, he left behind his colleagues Mr Abdi Kisos, Mr John Ngoya, Mr Paul Busiro, and Mr Opio who is the Clerk of the Ugandan National Assembly before he departed for Tom Mboya street. 

“Mr Wakikona had checked in at Samura Court along Argwings Kodhek road on October 3, 2022, together with his colleagues. Today at 0626 hours, he went to the main gate and told the guard to request Uber for him destination was at Tom Mboya street, and thereafter the Uber reg number KCS 466G arrived driven by Robert Wangombe picked him up and drove away.  Since then his phone went unanswered and his whereabouts remain unknown,” a report filed at Kilimani Police Station reads in part.
