Ahmednasir faulted former President Uhuru Kenyatta for the mess that saw DPP Haji withdraw cases against top politicians.

Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has come to the defense of the Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji following criticism he received over the withdrawal of cases involving top politicians in the country.

In a tweet Friday morning, the Lawyer exonerated Haji from the blame saying Former President Uhuru Kenyatta is the one to blame for the mess.

He alleged that many senior state officers were coerced into signing resignation letters that were deposited with the National Intelligence Service.

Nairobi Leo could however not independently authentic the claims made by the lawyer.

"Kenyans are so unfair to DPP Haji. Don't they know President Uhuru forced ALL holders of important constitutional offices to pen undated resignation letters & deposited the original with the Director General of NIS? Uhuru destroyed all institutions. Now we have a chance to rebuild," the Lawyer said in a tweet.
