President Ruto told the newly appointed cabinet that they had no option but to succeed. 

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi took the oath of office on Thursday, October 27, alongside other Cabinet Secretaries who were sworn in. 

The former ANC leader thanked President William Ruto for appointing him as the Prime Cabinet Secretary in his government.

I take this opportunity to thank President William Ruto for considering and appointing me as the Prime Cabinet Secretary in his government. It is an honour I accept with great humility and sense of gratitude," he stated.

Mudavadi promised the Head of State that he would serve with dedication and within the confines of the constitution of Kenya. 

"I promise the President and the people of Kenya that I will serve them with utmost dedication to the best of my ability and within the confines of the Constitution of Kenya.

"I am fully awake to the many challenges that lie ahead of us even as we embark on the Herculean task of transforming the country's battered economy and restore dignity to the lives of our people," Mudavadi said.

President Ruto told the newly appointed cabinet that they had no option but to succeed and deliver to the people of Kenya. 

"You have no option other than to succeed. Failure is not an option. We have a country to look after and we have people watching us. I expect each one of you to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law to be the center of our government," President Ruto said.
