Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee and her American boyfriend singer/actor Rotimi are engaged.
Videos shared by The Shaderoom on Thursday, December 31, 2020, showed Rotimi getting on one knee and asking Vanessa to be his Fiance.
The lovebirds made their relationship social media official, posting photos of one another on their pages late last year.
During a radio interview in Tanzania, Vanessa revealed that it took her only two days to realize, “this is my husband.”
"It took me two days…I said, 'This is my husband, I’m in love with him. I love him’," said Mdee.
It is unknown how Rotimi and Mdee first met.
Vanessa began her career as a VJ, most prominently with MTV Base, and soon transitioned into music, signing to B’Hits Music Group in 2012.
